Sodium formate
I.Products performance:
Sodium formate is part of white and crystal powdery,which
has slight hygroscope,and  slight smell of methanoic
acid is easily dissolved in water,slightly dissolved
in ethanol;out of dissolved in diethyl;proportion is
1.919.Melting point is 253oC.It has strong
toxicity as well as irritation.
II.Production Features:
Sodium formate is the accessory substance of the penaterythritol
production ,mother liquor of penaterythritol conducts
activating treating by means of crystal accelerator,which
ressults in containing Sodium formate ≥97%,in products,organic
≤2%,chloride 0.5%.so far,the said technology has
reached international advanced level and taken the leading
position in domestic.
III.Package of products:
Each bag of soidum formate shall be 25±0.2kg,and
package of lining plastic film knitting bag shall be
adopted.
IV.Uses of products:
Sodium fomate is extensively used in the production
of methanoic acid,oxalate and sodium hydrosulfite as
well as reducer, disinfectant and the like.
